Technology

Wow, I've really been slacking on my blogging.

Sooo....technology....it's a good thing (as Martha would say)...I like technology. I can not say I keep up with it very much, just what is necessary - email, cell phone, running water (is that technology?). Therefore this is a good exercise for me to learn things I wouldn't normally seek out.

Must comment now...

Dear Diary,

I love Fridays, especially when I have the weekend off...well, not really 'off' - just not at a library (not that I don't love the library). I will be working on my house, SURPRISE!! It's all fun though - frustrating and stressful, but fun.
Everyone knows how anxious I am to move in, for many reasons. One reason being Austin the blind puppy I am considering adopting. I spoke to the woman who rescued him again last night and he is still living at the Whitestone Animal Hospital. A few people have shown interest but either haven't followed through or she didn't feel it was a good match. One man had 2 adult pit bulls already and she thought it might be too much for Austin to handle. Tiger hasn't met him though, I do not want to take that step before I know I can adopt him, which until I move I can not. There's the chance she might be too much for him as well. I suppose if he is still available when I am in my house then maybe it's meant to be. We'll see.
Sincerely, DJ

I feel pressured to post eventhough I have nothing to say.

It's a beautiful day out and I do not have to work this evening. I may ask Tiger Jeanius if she'd like to accompany me on a walk through scenic Lake Ronkonkoma. If she says no I will take a nap. Very exciting!

Ode to the cheese doodle

Doodle doodle with your orange powder cheese
stay always in our snack machine, please, please, please.
Weird little shapes - some are big some are small
if I had to choose I'd pick you over being tall.

Because of your deliciousness nothing can ever compare
not pretzels or chips, i wouldn't even dare.
They can take all candy - including the gummy
I wouldn't eat them over a doodle, even for money.

Don't care if the cheese is fake
whether fried or baked.
The bigger the bag, the happier I will be
Cheese doodles in the snack machine, stay available for me.
